an exciting opportunity for a Research Development Manager based at our award-winning facility here in Samlesbury.

You will bring energy and enthusiasm ensuring that our policies and procedures enable the
operation of the group. Alongside this you will also manage the bid writing opportunities for the
group driving best practice and ensuring our success rate is maintained at a high level. The work
will provide an excellent opportunity for continuous learning and personal development. You will help to build and maintain
customer relationships and identify opportunities for collaboration.
You will have;
• A good honours degree or equivalent experience
• Proven track record of bid writing including an ability to provide partners with confidence and value from their
engagements.
• Experience in submitting bids for large programmes and consortia led research. Including proficiencies with the
University JeS system.
• Experience cultivating and developing relationships with new and existing partners.
• Ability to analyse and solve problems with an appreciation of longer-term implications and the performance of AMRC
NW.
