Production Supervisor. Leicester. £28,000 to 30,000 Basic Salary + 25 Days Holiday Plus Bank Holidays + Free Parking on Site + Company Pension + Subsidised Canteen. Monday to Friday: Week 1 6am to 2pm, Week 2 2pm to 10pm. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well known food manufacturer. The company are investing significantly in their site and are recruiting for a Production Line Manager due to expansion as a result of rapidly increasing production output. This is an important role for the business where you will work closely with Senior Management and hold a position of genuine influence. The successful candidate will have previous supervisory or management experience in a production environment. Candidates will need to hold a leadership/management qualification. The role itself is a varied position where you will have sole responsibility for running for a large, high value production line on shift. For your line you will have responsibility for setting and monitoring KPIs, ensuring raw materials are brought through from stores to fulfil the production plan, filing reports related to the output. There is a focus on improving line efficiency and reducing waste output so prior experience of this is important. This is a hands on management role where you will be responsible for a team of 10 to 20 operatives on shift spending around 80% of your time on the shop floor. The Role.
