The role and what you take care of:

Are you passionate about driving transformation and inspiring change? Magna is seeking a Transformation and Change Communications Manager to ensure colleagues understand, believe in, and engage with our service transformation journey. In this pivotal role, you build awareness, foster genuine buy-in, support behaviour change, and maintain trust and transparency across teams. • Develop and deliver a clear internal communications strategy for Magna’s service transformation programme, ensuring messaging aligns with organisational priorities and our Better Futures strategy.
  • Translate complex programme content into simple, engaging communications, collaborating closely with programme leads and delivery teams to address key colleague questions.
  • Design and implement innovative colleague engagement approaches, supporting two-way feedback and helping leaders communicate change effectively across all departments.
  • Produce high-quality communication outputs across multiple channels, manage timelines linked to programme milestones, and partner with leaders to provide clear messaging frameworks.
  • Gather insight and feedback to measure engagement, identify risks, and continuously improve communication, working collaboratively across the communications team to strengthen internal capability. A comprehensive role profile will be attached to the application process.

What you need to be successful:

  • Demonstrated expertise in internal communications, organisational and culture change, and multi-channel strategies, with the ability to simplify complex information, engage senior stakeholders, and deliver impactful content in dynamic, regulated, or public sector environments, underpinned by a pragmatic, people-focused approach and a strong understanding of service design.
  • Demonstrated expertise in clear written and verbal communication, simplifying complex information, managing and influencing senior stakeholders, engaging a diverse workforce, and delivering effective organisational change through strong planning, service design understanding, and multi-channel strategies in dynamic, regulated environments.
  • It would be advantageous to have expertise in translating complex information, engaging senior stakeholders, planning and delivering multi-channel strategies, and supporting organisational change in housing, public sector, or regulated environments, underpinned by a strong understanding of service design, colleague engagement methodologies, and familiarity with digital communication channels and content design principles.
  • You will be calm and confident in complex environments, pragmatic and delivery-focused, curious and people-oriented, comfortable with constructive challenge, and able to build trust swiftly at all organisational levels.
  • It would be advantageous, although not essential, to hold a degree or equivalent experience in communications or a related field, membership of CIPR, CIM or other professional body, a recognised change management certification, and/or a relevant postgraduate qualification.
