On Thursday 28th February 2019 we are hosting an “Industry into Education” evening at our South West Skills Campus, as we are seeking staff with commercial and industrial backgrounds to start a career in education.
If you have already been thinking about starting a career in education, or if this idea is new to you, come along and speak to our staff to discover how your skills can be used in subject areas such as:
• Vocational Training/Assessing (Leadership and Management – Weston & Midlands based, Team Leading, Customer Service, Clinical HealthCare and Health & Social Care, Accountancy)
• Construction/Groundworks
• Plant and Machinery Training
• Law
• Health Sciences/Lab Sciences
• Professional Services
• Engineering
• Hospitality
We are also looking for people to teach:
• English and maths
• In Offender Learning (Prison Education)
There are many opportunities available to you, including: full time roles, part time learn while you earn opportunities and even chances to guest lecture.
Teaching and assessing experience is not essential, as we will train you to a high standard. However, the desire to share your passion in your field of expertise to the next generation is key.
