At Chesterfield College, our mission is to equip our students with the skills and knowledge for progression and employment.
We have over 700 courses to choose from catering for a wide range of learners including foundation courses, A Levels, Apprenticeships, work related (vocational) and professional qualifications, diplomas and degrees. Many of our students go onto to University, further study or work.
We have extensive facilities to give our students the best possible chance to succeed at their course whilst enjoying their time at College. These include iPads and tablet devices for research work; 3D printer in engineering; state-of-the-art commercial hair and beauty salons; dedicated performing arts theatre; wireless baby manikins, hi tech robots for computer programming, industry standard kitchens and public restaurant, fitness suites with the latest gym equipment and much, much more.
Our location is key to our success in attracting students from north and south Derbyshire, Buxton, Derby and South Yorkshire and Sheffield. Our free College buses make Chesterfield College a highly accessible and affordable choice for over 8,000 full, part time or HE students every year.
We also deliver Apprenticeships through our commercial subsidiary Learning Unlimited – the largest provider of Apprenticeships in the East Midlands.
