BTCV

By J&C Team

BTCV is a registered charity. We enable people to make a difference in their lives and improve the places around them. In 2009 we supported more than half a million people to think and act differently; creating hedgerows, clearing rubbish from housing estates, planting vegetables. Across the UK and beyond, BTCV supports hundreds of thousands of people to improve green spaces. The practical element of our conservation work has countless positive knock on effects. It improves health, teaches skills, boosts confidence, helps people back into work and battles climate change. BTCV helps people and communities to help themselves. BTCV is at work across the UK and internationally. We run active holidays abroad and in the UK, we provide thousands of training days, support 3500 community groups, grow and sell native trees, campaign against climate change, and run educational projects in schools. We deliver government welfare to work schemes and run a Green Gym programme which helps people improve their physical and mental health. Our mission is to invest in a more sustainable future by inspiring people and improving places.
