Birmingham Supported Living Service, Erdington
Praxis Care is opening new services in Erdington which provides innovative and bespoke packages of care to some of the most vulnerable people in the area who are experiencing a degree of learning disability and enduring mental health issues. A number will have been in long term institutional placements and will require an extended period of readjustment to community living – this is where our services come in.
Each person we engage with will have a tailored care package to support their return to live within local communities in a Supported Living setting, with staff being involved with developing each Service User’s confidence and abilities to live as independently as possible. Services are close to each other with support from a local office base and we are growing across the city. Our expertise is in working with people with complex and multiple needs, there will be challenges on the way as outcomes are worked towards but we will be there for each person’s journey. Praxis Care wants to make a real difference in people’s lives by creating opportunities and collaborating with other agencies to promote the best possible outcomes for everyone we engage with.
We will ensure that staff have the necessary skills and knowledge to be able to deliver the specialist care and support required and encourage active learning opportunities and career progression.

£19,266 – £21,097 per annum pro rata*
*Salary based on 39 hours per week. Salary dependent on qualification/experience. Where the role requires sleep-ins a minimum additional payment of £45.00 per night applies.
