Joining a team of approximately 10 based across multiple Drax locations, you’ll have the opportunity to work flexibly between home and our Selby office.

There’s no set structure, so you’ll have variety in your role day-to-day. With a focus on modelling, you’ll work on a range of projects involving UK and European power, ancillary services markets, industry trends and decarbonisation pathways. You’ll be delivering fundamental market analysis, as well as assisting the group to manage business planning, strategy development and investment decisions.
You’ll need a solid understanding of optimisation modelling techniques and be able to apply analytical techniques in a sensible pragmatic way. Bringing advanced Excel skills with you, a working knowledge of coding languages will also be ideal.
