Berry Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Accounts Assistant to work for a company based in Romsey. Ideally you will have knowledge of Sage, purchase ledger and credit control and some previous experience in accounts is useful however training can be given. The hours of work are Monday – Friday 08:30-17:00 and the salary offered is £18,000. Responsibilities. Data entry of invoices into Sage Accounts. Raise and control purchase orders/delivery notes as required. Statement and bank reconciliations. Posting payments to include online payments and direct payments into the bank. Processing company expenses. Inputting sales orders into the system. Daily banking. Processing sales receipts. Credit Control when needed. Archiving paperwork, general filing. Assist in general office administration as required. Updating company database. First point of call for answering incoming telephone calls and re-directing accordingly as required. Company Benefits.
