We are proud to be partnering a leading global communications provider who is looking to appoint a talented and technical focused accountant to support the business and their plans to grow rapidly in the next 3-5 years. This is a varied role, with an opportunity to work with a talented team across multiple offices. We are looking for someone who is passionate about process! The ideal candidate will be able to showcase robust financial controls, process methods and can take ownership for regulatory matters. We are seeking someone who has experience of working with sites overseas. Key Responsibilities include. Control company accounts across a number of different regions. Finance Team management and collaboration with Financial Planning and Analysis team. Overhead and balance sheet controls and reconciliations. Budget and forecast of overheads and company performance. Treasury Management and cashflow forecasting. Audit planning and annual financial pack creation. Co-ordinate all statutory reporting,IFRS regulation support, tax and compliance returns. Monthly financial pack preparation and basic commentary for CFO. Maintain registers and controls – asset register, share documentation, corporate governance records. Lead financial system improvements inc treasury, invoice, debt management, payroll and financial accounting systems. Manage costs and educate business on commercial matters where relevant. Set a strong financial organisational framework for the company. Support the CFO on adhoc projects (inc. investment proposals, long-term plans, due diligence requirements, advisory presentations. Skills / Attributes Required. Qualified Accountant, or at finalist level preferable with 5 years working in business /finance level. Familiar with regulatory matters, Experience of working on an international basis with sites overseas and understanding offshore process, Staff management skills – advantage, Strong IT skills including Excel.
