Business Brain Training which provides practical guidance to new start-ups on how to plan, market and operate your new business and of course Richard Shakespeare Disability Consultant which provides equality training, mystery visits and a wide range of other services to help challenge perceptions about disability.
Richard has Cerebral Palsy but believes that his disability has never held him back. He is a very determined individual who does not see himself as being “disabled” but believes that his disability has simply been the driver behind his hunger for success. Richard was recently quoted as saying “When asked on an application form or a survey if I think I have a disability my answer is ‘No’, the reason being that they ask if ‘I think I have a disability’ Richard has explained that in his view he is no different to an able bodied person and that he would rather people see the person behind the disability than just a person with a walking stick.
