Discover Risk is an award-winning programme developed by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) in 2010 to encourage students in school, college or university to understand more about the opportunities in insurance. The team runs student events at universities around the country and the school-facing Discover Risk board game was launched in October 2010. Since then it has been delivered with great success to over 1,500 students. It has proved to be very successful with 70% of participants saying that after taking part in the game they would consider a career in insurance – a big improvement on the 15% before the event was launched.
