Marston’s is a leading brewing and pub retailing business. We operate around 1,700 pubs across the country, and our estate consists of managed, franchised, leased and tenanted sites. We also have five breweries – Jennings in the Lake District, Marston’s in Burton-on-Trent, Banks’s in Wolverhampton, Wychwood in Oxfordshire and Ringwood in Hampshire. We produce famous names such as Marston’s Pedigree and Wychwood Hobgoblin. We’re also well known for our sponsorship deal with the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), which will see Marston’s continue as the official beer of the England cricket team until 2017. We are market leaders in the development of new build pub restaurants, having invested over £140million to date in our new build programme. We are currently opening between 25 and 30 new pub restaurants each year, and have recently opened our first sites in Scotland and on the Isle of Wight. With each new opening we create upwards of 40 jobs, from Management level to Team Members. We’ve also just been shortlisted for this year’s Publican Awards in the categories of Best Pub Employer (51+ sites), and Best Pub Company (51+sites).
